Industry Leaders & Mentors

The Institute mentors, workshop leaders, and presenters have successfully led enrollment and marketing efforts at a diverse range of colleges and universities—some are even alumni of the original Institute at Snowmass. They are conducting our special sessions on the topics and areas of their professional experience and expertise.

Earn a career-advancing credential. Individuals interested in pursuing an official Institute credential will start with a deep dive into the Strategic Enrollment Plan Framework covered at the Institute in May. Over the course of the summer, they will meet with their mentor and advisory board members to iterate on a full enrollment plan for their institution. Credentials will then be awarded in the fall upon successful review and completion of the enrollment plan.

NIL: Its Impact & Strategic Benefits

Have you become familiar with Name, Image, and Likeness practices, legislation, and policies? Have you considered how this will impact your recruiting efforts? You will at the Institute.

  • Get up to speed with McKenzie Milton, National Championship UCF quarterback and member of the Oversight Board for the National Collegiate Players Association, who also helped get the 2020 Intercollege Athlete Bill of Rights passed in Florida. He is a partner in the Mission Control company: their Dreamfield platform helps student-athletes participate in NIL opportunities.
  • Hear from and talk with current student-athletes: basketball captain Chanin Scott and football WR Ryan O’Keefe, to better understand how NIL impacts them.
  • Discuss how NIL impacts your institution and your institutional goals.

The Wild Dunes Resort

Lodge

This place is easy-going. Relaxed. It’s a location where you can feel at peace—and savor the moment. It checks the boxes for the kind of atmosphere that makes the Institute work.

And while work is on the agenda, so is time to decompress: to ruminate on the week’s content, to catch up with friends and colleagues old and new, and to relax. Whether you’re here for “me” time or opt to bring the family, you’ll find plenty to do at the resort or in historic Charleston, South Carolina, a Conde Nast Best Travel Destination and one of GQ’s Coolest Small Cities in America. There’s something to inspire everyone.

Explore the Resort’s barrier island home, relax amid 2 miles of pristine beach, enjoy a game of golf on 1600 world-class acres, pick up a game of tennis, unwind at the spa, enjoy an incomparable dinner at an award-winning restaurant—or all the above.

Get away. Find inspiration. Be reinvigorated.

It’s more important than ever, isn’t it?! And it’s a key component of The Institute. This is an ideal location to do just that.
